A Joint Technical Committee for Pensions consisting of members from the Republic of Sudan and Republic of South Sudan were engaged in a meeting to discuss issues related to pensions between the two countries. The meeting which commenced on Saturday, 17 December, 2022 and will be on until Wednesday, 21 December, 2022 will have discussions centered around agreed pension payment plans to benefit the South Sudanese and Sudanese pensioners and survivors pre and post independence of South Sudan. This will reflect on Addis Ababa Framework Agreement of 2012.
